I'm back - a little sad but back

Some of you may remember that our dear and long time friend, Joe passed away a couple of months ago. Three weeks ago, his son, Joe Jr. passed away and Saturday, Joe's wife Carolyn - passed away. It has not been a happy time except that they are in a better place and no longer suffering. They will be missed.

So bear with me for a couple of day and I'll spring back.

Now the good news - my daughter, Lori and son-in-law, Alan are coming out for a visit in March. I CAN'T WAIT! It's been a while since we got to see Alan and he is a love, so it will be a good visit - just not long enough.

Be back in a couple of days.

I think I'm going to make it!

For the first time in almost a week, I feel like I'm alive. I think "24 hour virus" is an urban myth. It was a bad one but once again, I survived. Now on to happier matters.

I'm looking forward to getting my groove back. I came back from Leadership in Phoenix so excited about all of the great information and ideas we received and anxious to share all of this with my "girls". Just  a minor hitch, a brief delay. Things are quickly returning to normal (whatever that is).

I'm not a big one for making New Year's Resdolutions, but I did promise myself that I would post on my blog more often, maybe even daily! I guess I'll just have to post twice on some days to catch up. So starting almost immediately, start looking for for more interesting and exciting posts that this one.

Leadership Photo

Leadership was absolutely wonderful this year. The classes, the speakers, the sharing and caring, manager's reception - just everything. Even the weather was awesome.

I've been so busy since I got home - just trying to finish up my annual clear out, put away, throw away and reorganize - thing I do. I really should have posted before now, but haven't, so please forgive me. I'll do better.

Below is a photo that Tiffany Bauer, one of my fellow Rising Stars, took of our group. It's always nice to see them again and swap beautiful cards and catch up with the news. Thanks for the photo Tiffany.

WOW! What a fun, busy, tiring day. Can't wait to share everything with you.

Getting ready for Leadership

I am so excited about Leadership. I think I need the boost. I 'm really looking forward to seeing some of the friends I've made and only get to catch up with at Stampin' Up! events.

Well I've been busy preparing my swaps both for Rising Stars and for Leadership and so I'm going to post a few sneak previews for you. Hope you enjoy them.
